Hunza

Hunza Valley is one of the most legendary destinations in all of Asia — a breathtaking corridor of snow-capped peaks, turquoise lakes, ancient forts, and one of the world’s most hospitable cultures. Sitting at 2,438 metres above sea level and framed by giants like Rakaposhi (7,788m) and Ultar Sar (7,388m), Hunza has captivated explorers, honeymooners, and trekkers for centuries. From the electric-blue waters of Attabad Lake to the 700-year-old Baltit Fort, the gravity-defying Hussaini Suspension Bridge to the rainbow-hued wildflower meadows above Karimabad — every corner of Hunza tells a story that stays with you long after you leave. This is not just a destination. It is a feeling.

Questions & Answer

We’re committed to offering more than just products—we provide exceptional experiences.

Hunza is approximately 600km from Islamabad via the legendary Karakoram Highway — one of the world's greatest road journeys. The drive takes 12–14 hours by private jeep or luxury bus, passing through Abbottabad, Besham, Chilas and Gilgit. Alternatively, fly Islamabad to Gilgit (45 minutes) and then drive 2 hours to Karimabad. Skarduline arranges both options as part of all Hunza packages.

The cherry and apricot blossom season in Hunza falls between mid-March and mid-April, peaking around the last week of March. This is one of the most photographed natural events in Pakistan and availability fills up fast — we recommend booking your Hunza blossom tour at least 6–8 weeks in advance.

Yes — Khunjerab Pass (4,693m), the highest paved international border crossing in the world, is a popular day trip from Karimabad. It is open from May to October. Skarduline includes this as an optional add-on to all standard Hunza packages — the drive through Gulmit and Passu to the pass is spectacular in itself.

Hunza is widely considered one of the safest destinations in Pakistan for solo female travellers. The Hunzai people have a strong tradition of hospitality and respect for visitors. Our female-friendly packages include vetted accommodation, female guide options on request, and 24/7 WhatsApp support throughout your stay.

We accept JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer and major debit/credit cards. International payments via PayPal or bank transfer are available for overseas bookings. A 30% deposit confirms your Hunza package with the balance due 7 days before departure.
