You can reach Skardu by direct flight from Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi or Dubai via PIA. Alternatively, you can drive via the Karakoram Highway from Islamabad — approximately 14–16 hours through some of Pakistan's most spectacular scenery. We arrange both options as part of our packages.
Yes, certain high-altitude treks such as K2 Basecamp and Concordia require trekking permits from the Alpine Club of Pakistan. Skarduline handles all permit arrangements on your behalf — fully included in our trekking packages with no extra hassle.
June to September is the peak season when all destinations including K2 Basecamp, Deosai Plains and Concordia are fully accessible. April–May is ideal for valley blossoms and September–October for golden autumn colours with fewer crowds.
